Thank you for choosing to support House of Refuge. We appreciate your financial gifts that help support the working homeless individuals, families and victims of domestic violence we serve at House of Refuge. Your generosity will enable us to continue the ongoing development of our support programs and will assist House of Refuge to reach those in need with life-changing opportunities.

Help the homeless of Arizona and yourself at the same-time by being a part of the 2011 Arizona Working Poor Tax Credit!

The 2011 Arizona Working Poor Tax Credit allows contributions to House of Refuge and are returned to you, the taxpayer, not as a deduction but as a tax credit!

Here is how -

  1. Give $400 ($200 if single/head of household) to House of Refuge which is a qualifying 501(c)(3) organization prior to December 31, 2011.
  2. Identify your financial gift as a "2011 Arizona Working Poor Tax Credit."
  3. Ensure House of Refuge has your name, address & telephone number
for a written receipt of the gift for your tax records.
  4. Itemize your charitable contribution on your Arizona Tax Return and
    claim the credit.
  5. Why Wait?  Click the "Donate Now" button below and submit your gift today.

Resident and Staff Quotes

"We volunteer at House of Refuge because it is a fabulous opportunity to serve. Helping to clean a home in preparation for a new resident, I think gives as much to us as to family who moves into the home."
– Bryan, House of Refuge Volunteer
